Welcome to the Indian Peaks Alers Homebrew Club website

Our membership spans a broad range of brewing experience - from folks who haven't actually brewed yet to others who have been brewing for 15+ years.  From Extract to All Grain to Mead and Wine - you are sure to find like-minded brewers who are eager to learn more and help make better beer.



Peak-to-Peak ProAm Homebrew Competition
The 2012 Peak-to-Peak ProAm is scheduled for March 31, 2012.   Several of Colorado's craft brewers will be selecting ProAm entries from the medal winners.

 

Entries:  $7 / 2 bottles   Accepted between March 12 and 23rd, 2012

This year, we're getting hi-tech and joining the rest of the world with electronic registration for the competition.  You can upload entry information using beerXML.  We are taking baby steps, however, and will require you to submit cash or a check (vs PayPal).

We're all about better homebrew
The Indian Peaks Alers are all interested in making the best beer possible while having a great time.  We have several hands-on workshops during the year as well as BJCP judging training.  We have several experienced BJCP judges who can help to provide critiques and suggestions on your brew.
We have fun meetings
We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at Lefthand Brewing in Longmont.  Meetings go from 6-8pm.  We have a "style of the month" theme and will have some commercial examples available for tasting.  We also have snacks.
