...a BJCP/AHA sanctioned competition and qualifier for the GABF Pro-Am competition.



Entries will be accepted for all of the 2008 BJCP beer categories (however, no meads or ciders).  Categories may be consolidated into manageable flights to facilitate judging.  Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each flight.  1st place winners will advance to a Best-of-Show round where the overall competition winner will be selected.   After the BOS has been determined, the participating brewers will select winning beers for entry into the 2012 GABF ProAm competition. 


The competition judging will take place on Saturday, March 31st, 2012 at Left Hand Brewing in Longmont, CO.  There will be an awards ceremony following the judging session (at approximately ).



The Pro-Am competition represents a unique opportunity for commercial breweries to pair up with homebrewers and create some truly unique beers.  The GABF Pro-Am rules stipulate that homebrewers must be members of the American Homebrewing Association at the time of entry.  If you are not a member, please visit www.beertown.org and sign up today.   Be sure to include your AHA membership number and expiration date on the entry forms.
